After upgrade of software Phone turns itself back on even hours later

There is likely a process or application that is preventing your phone from turning all the way off, or it is turning your phone back on for its own purposes. Check the permissions of your installed apps to make sure none of them have that permission, and talk to Verizon to see if the recent upgrade may be causing the problem.

Phone often turns itself off then comes back on again - like its resetting itself. This happens a few times everyday and is annoying

Hello.

I would suggest removing and reinserting the battery.

If the problem is not resolved, replace the battery.

If the phone is still under warranty, contact your service provider.

Hope this helps.

Turns itself off, will not restart

I would go back to the supplier and insist on a new phone, or money back or a different phone.

Make sure you can demonstrate what was happeming with the phone at the supplier, hopefully this should clear things up for you.

LG 8100

Hi Imatt015,
This is called "restarting". The mobile when restarting turns off and turns back on just as it happens to our PC when we restart it. This may happen at times when the OS of the mobile has encountered a problem or if there is some updates to any software in the mobile.

Thanks.
