    Sorry, wrong camera. :-[

Still, search manual for menus and functions to find settings.

    Update:

I downloaded the manual (pdf file) at:http://www.fujifilm.ca/documents/FUJI_A8...

And did extensive searches but found no setting for B/W.

Go into the menu and see if you have an entry for "filters".

My camera is a Coolpix L830 and my pictures are usually yellowish....never with vivid colors..please help

I may be WHITE BALANCE. If it is SET to FLASH and you are inside it may look YELLOW. Go the the MENU and see what the WHITE BALANCE is SET to. If it is AUTO then you MAY have something wrong with the camera. I cannot say it is the camera yet.

Electrical/wiring for a pendant fixture

white - nuetral

black - zap the junk out of you positive

if you can test continuity then test for source power, check both black wires and the red. the white wire better be neutral

set your volt ohm meter to 200 VAC if you have a cheap dial one or if you have a nice auto range one, set it to AC volts and test. red to the three wires, black lead on white...

Hi there, I have a canon powershot sx130 and I don't know how to change the colour settings on it to black and white? If you could please give me the steps to do this it would be greatly appreciated!...

I have the SX10IS your options should be the same. You only have the option to change colors in the manual modes (on the dial; P, Tv, Av, M & C). Press 'func. set' button, on the menu on the left the second option down is a paintbrush that is the my colors menu, select it and you can scroll through to black and white. Also as an option most photo software can convert a color image to black and white.

Color poor, essentially black & white

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. This issue is caused by failed convergence ICs. I don’t think the issue is with the power supply of the unit as the sound is coming fine from the unit. Please also check the convergence board for cracked solder. If you want to do the repair yourself there are repair kits available which includes instructions on how to replace them. Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks

When I am in action mode (with the dial turned to the running man my picture is blurry and yellow

The mode you mention above is prioritized for speed moving object such as racing, basketball game, etc...

the blurry condition is caused by the movement was too fast so the camera couldn`t capture it, the yellowish picture is caused by unmatched white balance presetting

according to my experience, when you want to capture a moment like this,
switch the dial to S (shutter) mode, set the shutter speed to 1/80 or faster, using a flash will be an advantage, don`t forget to set the white balance to auto option

hope this advice help you with your problem

My camera does all the proper functions but when you look through the lense all I see is black it does not show images. I take the picture and all you see is black, because that is what is in the view...

1. lens cap. had to say it, you know that! i assume it's off.
2. settings. once i had my lumix set on a certain white balance (dial, manual, menus) , and it let in so much light that all my shots turned out completely white ( i wasnt reviewing the pictures at the time). make sure you didnt put your camera on some setting that's blocking out light. try automatic by turning the dial.
3. try to reset your camera to factory settings using the menu system. sometime you get lost on the menu system and change an important finction that completely changes what you get when you take pictures.

Hitachi 50 Rear Projection color TV

the easiest way is to turn the color all the way down to zero. Then notice the overall color of the screen, if it doesnt appear as a good black and white picture you will have to adjust the screens. To do that you have to remove the speaker grill cover and the small access panel, then depending on the chassis you will see a small square with 6 dials on it 3 on top and 3 on the bottom it will have screen stamped on it. adjust those 3 untill your screen appears the best black and white picture as possible. Now if your chassis only has 3 dials on the sgaure control box those are focusdont adjust them. . then the 3 CRT boards will have the dials you need adjust those for the best black and white picture. when your satisfied that you have a good black and white picture. then turn your color back up and adjust the tint.Let me know if you need more assistance.
