You need a 3.5mm stereo jack to twin 1/4" jack plugs. That will get audio from your laptop to the mixer. Then, being Peavey, probably a pair or jack to jack 1/4" screened leads for signal from mixer to amp. Then loudspeaker leads to suit your amp and speakers.

I HAVE A NUMARKKMX01 MIXER WHEN I PLUG THE RED RCA JACK IN TO THE MIXER I GET A LOUND HUM

What is plugged into your Numark mixer when this happens? Try disconnecting ALL audio inputs to your mixer, turn mixer volumes to zero and see if the hum is still present. Adjust the volume and check if the hum you mentioned returns. If it is still heard, try new cables between the mixer and amp...if not then start reconnecting inputs until the hum is heard again. It's a process of elimination but not that difficult to find the source of your problem.

Alright well I have a Numark rack mount dj set with two CDN95 2 disc players. Well I bought it used with speakers and everything and do not know how to plug everything, I really need some help please...

As shown in the Quick Start Guide (link below) this unit should be connected to a Mixer Unit.

Looking at the Diagram they appear to be standard AV Cables so you should just be able to plug the CD Outputs into the Amp AV Inputs (as long as it's a Dual Amp) and then connect your speakers to the Amp (make sure the speakers impedance matches the Amp.

Im new with the use of the record player since im tired of MP3's. i bought a Numark TTusb turntable connected everything, but the sound is low. i have to crank the volume to the max, and only get low...

A turntable use a magnetic cartridge and its output is only 5 to 10 millivolts.A moving coil cartridge is even lower,.2 to .5 millivolts(thats 1/2000 of a volt)in contrast, a mp3 puts out a 300 to 900 mv signal..so does a CD player. Your turntable does not have enough signal. You need to get an amplifier that has a phono input. Years ago, radio shack used to sell phono preamps that could plug into a tape or cd input. The other option is to buy a used mixer that has a phono input. The mixer output can drive the cd input easily,as the max output from a mixer is 1.5 volts to 2 volts.

My numark cdmix2 doors dont open

Both doors? When you press switch (eject) does display change? I doubt you have 2 defective eject switches. Its more likely you need to replace both CD drives, this is quite common.

Bring it back to the shop where you purchased it from and it may be under warranty, if not then the problems yours. Try replacing the fuse in the plug. If bought online, then bring to a repair shop if all else fails, email them

Numark Mixer

This sounds like someting is out of phase. Can you describe all of the connections you have to the amp and speakers. Double check them as well to be sure that the positives are connected to the same terminals on the amp and speakers. If that is OK, we'll start looking inside the mixer.
