Question about Breadman TR2200C Ultimate Bread Maker

Breadman Ultimate Plus TR2500BC

Hi a few things. I just got the breadman machine and am finding it hard to understand the timing. I set it for what I think is 5 minutes of kneading, but turns out to be 5 seconds. But then when I set it to 30 minutes of baking and it is actually 30 minutes so I am getting a tad confussed. I will set it to zero then hit the up button till I reach 5....so is this just 5 seconds and not 5 minuutes like I think???????

HI, I use the dough cycle and it takes 1 hour 20 minutes, but it actually only kneads the first 10 minutes and then here and there a minute for all together about 15 minutes of kneading. Is my machine not...

It sounds like everything is OK...machines knead a while,,,,rest a long time....knead a little rest along time etc......that resting allows the dough to rise....

2 years old B&D bread machine. Motor doesn't turn. Didn't wait long enough to see if the heater is working.

Hi keneddy,
Always wait a few minutes to see if your bread machine start to mix after a few minutes. If the oven chamber is cold it will gently warm up a few minutes before it starts to knead/mix. This can sometimes take anywhere from 4-5 minutes and longer. If it doesn't start kneading after about 20 minutes then you do have a problem. Whole wheat programs often warm up before any kneading begins. All you will hear is a faint clicking noise while the heat comes on.

I put fruit in the fruit & nut dispenser & it did not come into the bread. What am I doing wrong?

Hi, sorry your dispenser appears not to be working. Unless and until you can repair it you can always add fruit and nuts the old fashioned way. Take a look at your manual and find the program you are using. Find how long the 2nd knead cycle lasts. For example lets say your 2nd knead last 20 minutes. Plan on opening the lid of your machine 10 minutes into the 2nd knead. All bread machines recommend add-ins well into the 2nd knead. Just have your ingredients premeasured on a paper plate next to the machine and fold the plate and pour them in halfway into the 2nd knead of the program you chose. At least that will help you get the bread you wanted.

Used the breadman successfully 6 days ago. today; nothing happens. Window states "knead" but nothing happens at all.

Are you making a different kind of bread than you did the first time?. If so some machine programs have a delay before they start kneading such as the whole wheat cycle. Also some machines delay the kneading process while they warm up the ingredients. If it is colder where you live now than itw was 6 days ago that could be a factor.

After adding ingredients, plugged in bread maker and selected time. It beeped, but no mixer came on as usual. I unplugged and reset. Still no results. Please advise how to get it to mix and bake.

Some machines have a delay before they start kneading if they detect that the ingredients are not at the right temperature. Try waiting about 10 minutes after you pust start and see if it starts kneading. I have a Breadman machine that warms up for about 5 or 10 minutes and then starts kneading.

TR440 Breadman won't begin kneading once "start" button is pushed

Hi Mindy.......it takes 30 minutes to PREHEAT this silly machine for wheat bread. I thought I did something wrong, too........I stopped it twice after it preheated for about 15 minutes. I did not want to waste anything so I let it stay in the machine.....I just went to check the machine and it started after 30 minutes of preheating.

I wish they would mention this in the book!!!

Breadman Pro TR900S does not begin kneading AT ALL!

I can't promise you that this is the solution, but some of the cycles have a relatively long preheat cycle where the bread machine just sits there. Make sure that you are on cycle #1 and it should start kneeding right away.
