Question about Hitachi 50V500 50 in. HD-Ready LCD Television
I have a Hitachi LCD 81cm flat screen TV that has developed a single verticle red line down the centre of the screen. Is there a fix for this? Thanks, Mat.
The most likely cause is a failure of the TAB on the LCD panel inside the TV.
The only fix is too replace the LCD panel itself.
If it is under warranty then you should return it, if not, then you will have to replace the screen or live with it.
Unless you can find the screen cheaply you will find it is not cost effective to repair, just use it as a 2nd TV or a PC monitor.
