Re: sound problem how to fix it?

You need find proper drivers for your sound card. To do so, please find out firs what is the sound card name. You could easly find a program in Internet, which can scan your computer and tell you what you have got there. Than go to a manufacturer website and download a driver and install it.

Re: sound problem how to fix it?

Its becoz your sound card has no driver installed. Install sound card drivers that came with your PC/Laptop. Then restart the pc then it will work. you can check the status at Control panel device manager. its done!

My laptop suddenly got no sound of whatever..what sound app is needed for a e machines by ACER LAPTOP WITH WINDOWS XP OS

Click this link and select your model to download the audio driver. It's worth to install the chipset drivers before installing the audio driver as I do not see why the sound disappeared suddenly. If this hasn't help there could have be a connection has come off between the computer and the speaker.

Good luck!

It should give you a number to call when that message comes up. Call it. They don't bite and should be able to give you a number that will fix the problem. I call them all the time. It is easy.

The sound on my laptop has been fine up until a couple of days ago, it makes an anoying crackling sound through both internal speakers and my headphones an i know my headphones are fine,???? help me please

There are several reasons why you could suddenly be getting a crackling noise. My best guess is you have the laptop near some kind of magnetic source - maybe a cell phone? My Boost mobile phone would do this to my speakers. Is this possibly the cause?
