This set has LG insides, it will have failed on either the Y-Sustain PCB or the Z-Sustain PCB.

Quite common.

Repair estimates should be $250 - £350 depending on which has failed.

Stick it on eBay, it will fetch good money faulty.

I have an almost 3-yr old Sanyo DP50747. Has been working perfectly fine until 2 days ago, it just won't power up. I use a Monster surge protector in case power trips so I tried resetting it but nothing happened. Used it a few minutes in the morning before going to work and was surprised it won't turn on when I got back home. Help please...

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Tv keeps turning on and off

You probably have blown capacitors on the PSB-power supply board. Recaping with new UF caps works 90% of the time. The set turns itself of into a fault protection to keep from damaging more components internally. A few bucks a soldering iron some solder should do the trick.

We get sound on our sanyo, but no picture. When

Probably out of warranty?
this is an issue with either one of two things,
1) Power supply
2) Lamp 'Florecent back lighting tubes' ballest.

Depending on the service shop rates, the labor is more than the part. Call around and get some price quotes. Worth your time. These set's are still expensive?

Now if it's a 15" . Buy a new one. They are just a throw away item these days.
Blessings,
A/V Guy
