Question about Olevia LT37HVS 37 in. LCD HDTV
While watching tv it just shuts off, the blue light does not come on. I press the remote and then the blue light comes on, the I restart the tv, at this point it comes on again, after watching for a few minutes it does it over and over again. I can not watch my tv, it is only one and a half years old. Picture is perfect "when and if it works". HELP
I was having the same issue. It was driving me crazy. At one point I went over to the tv and I put my hand on the top. The amount of heat coming out was unbelievable. I know that I am only prolonging the inevitable and I do not recommend this as a permanent solution. However, I have found that if you point a fan right at the side of the tv to keep it cool, the problem seems to go away. I'm sure that the other solution posted above is probably a better one. But it will get you by until you get the tv to the repairman. . .

Take the TV to a local repairer, it sounds as though as it is warming up some components on the Power Supply are failing.
A fairly common fault, not too expensive to fix.
Perhaps $80 if it can be repaired, $150 to replace the PSU.
