LG banter won't recognize data on SD mirco card

Please try to back up the music and picture that you have on the memory card, try to format the card using the phone before transferring the music and pictures again. Try to consider the memory capacity of the card, make sure that it is compatible with the phone.

As far as I am aware when you sync a mobile to pc all you are doing is copying names and addresses and numbers from mobile to pc and vise versa, you are not transfering mp3s or anything else as such, for this you have to use the LG Suite software that came with your mobile or simply drag and drop the files to the sd card that you have in the mobile, obviously you have to be able to use the sd card in a laptop or pc card reader to do this and not the data cable that you use that came with the mobile. The drag and drop method is far easier, well I think so.

Im trying to get music on sd card from computer to the card. the music goes to card but does not show up on card when i put card in phone.

The SD card may have multiple folders that the music may need to go into. If you put the card back into the computer, open the card up and see if there is a folder that says something like my music or something. If it does, then you drag the music to that folder and then when you put the card back into your phone it should play.

Pictures on lg shine won't show on computer.

I think the problem might be that your phone is set to save pics you take with shine to phone instead of card. Try opening your camera, click "options", click "primary storage", then select "memory card". Take a test pic, pop the card in computer and see if it shows up. You should see a new folder choice -- "graphics". Hope that works for you!

Getting songs from the sd card to show on my phone

To find your music on the SD, go to my stuff, sounds, external memory, mp3 and you should see your music. Playing it, however is another matter. You can play only one song. Then you have to manually play the next one. Not what I'd call an MP3 player.
