Question about Televison & Video
There is a thick black diagonal bar across my screen, it goes away after the television has been on for an hour or so. What could be the problem.
The thick bar you are seeing could be a couple of things - either your HDMI or any other wire your connecting has been run too close to electrical lines, or your cable incoming needs to be grounded and/or filtered. It could also be a defect in the TV - does it happen when the DVD is on as well?
Total Control Remotes - www.totalcontrolremotes.com is a good place to contact to help you with these kinds of isssues.
