Question about Computers & Internet
Try something else but start normally.
Start in safe mode (Press F8 right after boot) then reboot.
Start in the last good configuration.
If none works reinstall the system.
Change Boot sequence in BIOS to CD-HDD.
Insert Installation CD in CD-Rom drive
Choose C; partition
Choose Format (do not do a quick format). Any formatting will erase all on the Hard Drive.
Complete installation and reboot.
There is something else you could do before resorting to a reinstallation, and that is to use The Recover Console. You acces it when setup asks wether you want to reinstall, or repair. If you answer Repair you boot into the recovery console.
But before using it you should query Microsoft knowledge base about Recovery Console, and know exactly what should do.
Hope it helps.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
