-   Had left the camera for about 6 month. Decided to give it an excercise, eh voila.... no picture. Playback is fine, just cant record.... Stear clear of this camera at all costs!-   spottyshower

-   my video camera does the same it asks for lens cap when it has been removed but when that goes of the screen all i see is multi-colour strobe affect down the view screen is it true jvc will fix this problem free of charge if so what do i need to do?

-   Hi everyone...I have just the same problem, when I try 2 record something it asks me to remove lenscap...Went back to the shop to get them to fix it and I was told that it would cost me £40 just to have a look at it and they don`t know how much it would cost me to fix it as well....I bought mine 3 years ago and the guarantee is off date but it only worked for 2 years...don`t really know what to do about it, but its very annoying..Mary-   womenka
