Question about Frigidaire GLTF1670A Front Load Washer
I merely need to find a carbon brush for the motor. I replaced the control board (again, third one, ugh) and the machine ran only 4 loads. I pulled the brushes and one is completely worn down. I called everyone I could think of, including the manufacturer and they only want to sell me a new motor. Any suggests, before I pull a brush off off one of my vehicle's altenators and rig it to fit;)?
Do they make up graded shock absorbers for frididare fwt449gsfo washer?

The internal brush can be used to replace brush in similar holder on
certain Electrolux, Frigidaire, and Kenmore washers (at least motor #
131276200).

Call a few hardware store....I think I found my brushes at True Value. Then take the brushes/case & spring to a lawn mower etc. repair shop...they charge you a few bucks to get the right angle and length with the spring and case. Hope it helps!

LOOKING FOR BURSHES FOR FRIGIDAIRE FWTR445RFS0. ONE IS WORN COMPLETELY DOWN. SO FAR HAVE ONLY FOUND REPLACEMENT MOTORS AVAILABLE.
When the washer goes into the final spin cycle, it seems to clank and
rattle to the point that we shut the machine down. I checked the
balancing and leveling of the washer it is all ok, it seems to be an
internal problem with the drum. I also removed the back panel to
look for missing springs and bottom mounts, they all seem to be OK.
Please advise
Thank you
