Want to load pictures off of my photobucket page to my web page on urbanchat...i have already resized the photos but when i browse it only comes up my computer and not photobucket.

This is how I download pictures from the Internet and edit them for use in other programs etc.

First create a "Temp Pic" file in My Documents.

Now go to the pictures you want to download.

Viewing to picture right click on it and select "Save Image As"

Now a download window will appear - locate your "Temp Pic" file location and hit "Save".

To process pictures go to www.download.com and search "Fastone Image Viewer" (FREE).

Install the picture software on your computer. This is a Fulll feature picture processing tool.

Now go to your saved pictures in "Temp Pics". Select THUMBS view.

Double click on the picture you want and it will appear in the FSViewer program. (If FSViewer does not open, click on its Icon and and use the file search on the left side to locate the pictures Temp Pic file.) There are many Preferences as to how you want the program to view pictures.

In FSViewer, double click on an image two view it in normal size. In Preferences you can set it to open all pics in Full Screen. ESC will always take you back.

For using the pics in a web page you can Resize the pictures to meet the requirements of the web page. You can also Crop images to highlight the main subject. The first time you crop or alter an image it will save it back to the file automatically with a new name to preserve the original pic. If you make multiple changes to a pic it will ask if you want to replace the original - say no and ad a letter or number to the suggested file name and then save it.

FSViewer will also download and save pictures from digital cameras as well as offer to delete the original camera files. FSViewer does create it own storage file. You must creat a file folder (like Temp pic to store you pictures) You can also store the pics in MY PICTURES, but create a sub folder for the pics.

Practice with a copy of a picture first to get the feel of the software...

I selected open folder to view pictures. The f: file display DCIM. I clicked it and it display Olympus displaying pics. I name a couple of pics in the slide. I wanted to change the folder name I...

it sounds like you deleted the images. If you are downloading images from your camera or card....you should open the folder to view images. hold control key down and select all images that you want to download. right click on them on click save.

it sounds like you are trying to rename a folder before downloading anything. I know that when I try to edit or rotate any of my images on my card, i first need to download the images to a folder before doing any edits. it does sound like you were trying to rename your folder. normally, you would right click on folder, and click rename. hope this helps. if you need anything else, feel free to ask!!!

Problems with the samsung camera. the screen is blank black!

Sounds like the ZIF connector for the screen or another part came loose. I will say it sounds like a hardware issues and I would strongly recommend looking into coverage via manufactures parts and repair coverage. About the picture folder not showing up, If your using the camera cord to attach it to the computer Make sure you turn the camera on after connecting, if the drive for the camera does not appeare in " Computer " I would say get a card reader for the SDHC cards and try to load the pictures through there.

How do you put a picture on your profile on facebook

To upload a profile picture:

  1. Place your mouse over the upper right corner of your current profile picture or temporary image, and click on the pencil icon that appears.

  2. Select "Browse" to find a photo on your computer to upload.

  3. Select the photo to upload, check the box certifying that you have the right to distribute the picture and that it is not ****, and click "upload picture." If the picture is an acceptable size and file type, it will display.
If you have a webcam, you can choose "Show Camera" to take an instant profile picture. Be sure to select "Allow" so that Facebook can access your camera and microphone. Then, click the camera icon to take a picture, and choose "Save Picture" to set it as your profile picture.

You can also set any photo in which you are tagged as your profile picture by viewing the photo and selecting "Make Profile Picture."

When connected to the computer the disk does not appear on th edesktop, how to initialize the camera?

Hello. Please try this. With the camera turned off make the connections.Turn the camera on.Wait a few seconds to see if a new hardware message appears. If it does wait till the message says your new hardware is ready to use.Wait a few seconds to see if a window opens asking you what you want to do,(open folder, get pictures, etc.)If so make your choice and proceed. If you don't see this window click My Computer look to see if your camera shows up in the Other Devices list if so open it and your pictures should be accessable. If none of this works try shutting your computer down make all the connections turn your camera on and start the computer. If your problem continues post back in the comments box .

My iphone 2g takes pics which appear like negatives

I experienced the same problem. I clicked on Settings, then clicked on General and clicked on Accessibility...then make sure that Off is selected for White on Black. Once I changed that setting...I could view my pictures in color and not in negative. Try it. What a relief ...cuz I thought something was wrong with my phone's camera.

How to take still pic with webcam MCNIC50C

  1. Step 1 Make sure your Web cam is hooked up to the USB port on the back of the computer and installed appropriately and the computer is on and ready.
  2. Step 2 From the start menu, left click on control menu (these are the steps for XP yours might be a little different). Then on the dialog box that pops up, left click on the "Printers and other Hardware" option.
(If you don't have XP but have iPhoto Plus, skip to step 7.
  3. Step 3 Another dialog box will pop up. Left click on the scanners and cameras option to bring another dialog box up. From there double click with the left mouse key on the icon for your camera. This will bring up the "Scanner and Camera Wizard."
  4. Step 4 Left click the next key to get to the image capture screen, position the camera and left click on the word "Take Picture" below the image. The image will show up on the scrolling menu next to the image capture part of the box. Select it (left click the small box next to the image to get a check mark in the box) or use the select all option to get all pictures, then left click the next key.
  5. Step 5 Select the picture destination from the drop down menus that appear and hit the next key to save. The next dialog box will ask what is to be done with the pictures. Select the option in front of the correct choice and hit the next key to bring up the final screen.
  6. Step 6 From here the picture location will be able to be opened. Left click on finish if finished or select the other appropriate choice. The images should be on the computer and ready to work with.
If there is no scanner and camera wizard available try the next option.
  7. Step 7 Open iPhoto Plus and left click on the file option. From the drop down menu, scroll down to acquire and select source. Left click on select source.
  8. Step 8 From the dialog box that pops up, select your particular camera by left clicking on the down arrow key and scroll downward until your camera is found. Select the camera from the list by left clicking on it and then left click the ok button. (If your camera is already selected, this step may be unnecessary).
  9. Step 9 Now left click on the file button again select acquire and then left click on image. From the box that comes up make sure the radial button--the round area before the options--before the word "image" has a dark circle in it indicating it is selected. Then left click on the acquire button. (Read tips for other options).
  10. Step 10 A dialog box will appear that is titled "acquire pictures from video". Position the camera for what picture is desired then left click on the capture button.
  11. Step 11 The picture will appear in a drop down menu on the other side of the video feed. Scroll down if need be and select the picture or left click the "select all" button if you would like all of them and then left click get pictures.
  12. Step 12 Now all the pictures should appear in iPhoto Plus. Save them to your computer with the save option or edit them at your leisure. Not sure if this helps but this is the way I take pics with my webcam. You can also see if there's a button on top of you webcam...Hope this helped any!

Can't download pictures to pc

What software are you using to access the pictures. If you don't have the "canon" drivers installed it just won't do it.. You can however go get a card reader for the Flash card and that saves on the camera batteries..
