Question about Lands Phones
Got a Telstra 7100a system second hand reported working OK. put in new AAA batteries, connected it all up but will not work. None of the handsets have any power when removed from cradle, when in cradle they have a battery charging and wireless icons flashing -- any ideas
The new batteries you installed are rechargable batteries ? and put each phone into the base for a couple seconds till you see the charging light flicker. then try the phone(s)

Disconnect the phone line leaving the power supply still plugged in. Next page the handset from the base unit hold and press button until it bleeps (remove the handset from the base unit first). press menu and scroll down to register.... press menu .....scroll down to select base... press menu then press 1. This should reset the phone. Failing that you can ring customer services the number will be on the bottom of the base unit.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
