It may not be necessary to remove the door at all
In most cases ,if you open the door all the way back wide open it will allow you to move the fridge through sideways
one trick I used when moving furniture and this happened was to open the freezer door right back and put the freezer door through the opening first , then the rest of the fridge went through by angling it past the door frame
that saved trying to reset the door when it was through
other than that most doors are hinged from the top first so if you remove the finish plugs there will be screws that you can undo then lift the door of the bottom pivot
Remove bolts that hold both doors, make sure to remember order, bolts for doors should be universal, but hinges need to go in same place just turned around. On the other side of fridge you need to remove plugs where bolts from otherside go. Install as reverse of removal, leave bolts loose to leave for adjustment. Install refrigerator door before freezer. Then move handles, small covers hide the screws on face of doors others should be exposed.
you need to buy a bolt washer, its a little flat ring that you put in between the revolving bolt and the head of the screw. this will help rotate the screw while keeping the bolt in place therefore preventing it from always falling off whenever you open / close the door
Usually, there are bolts/screws on the hinges. They may be covered with a plastic cap which will snap off. Start with the freezer door. While supporting the door, remove the screws from the hinge and lift to free the door. Now you should have access to the hinge supporting the refrigerator door. Same procedure for refrigerator door. Keep the screws in a safe place so you can reassemble the refrigerator when the kitchen floor is done.
You should be able to take the top trim caps off the door hinges, loosen the hinge screws a little, and move the door(s) away from the center of the refrig, then re-tighten the hinge screws to get the doors to stop hitting each other. You may want to check the bottom hinge(s) for the hight. The bottom hinges and the bottom of the doors have matching plastic "ramped" washers, which raise the door as it is opened, which help them to self close. If one of those is broken, the hight will be off.
Hi , let the freezer incline put pieces of thick cartoon on front legs of the freezer so that the door will shut , the door contact magnet are weak. check also the screw and bolts of the door might lose.
you can reuse the shhipping bolts but getting them back in is a royal pain in the but. if you have help you can have someone open the door to move the tub around so you can line up the shipping bolts to screw them back in. it help to take the top off the washer to help you see where your putting them.
