Yes, but you must tell me more about your computer first
You may have to buy a TV capture card or USB device if your PC does not already have one.

This will have the jacks needed to connect the TV & the PC together.

How to hook a 51 inch hitachi projection tv to a computer


The simplest way to do this is with an adapter cable.

The cable you need is a component (not composite) to vga.

Geeks.com has them for around $20, I'm sure you can find them
at other computer and electronics stores as well.

My Toshiba 51 inch projection tv has red squares on screen


The model indicated is a projection set and the question is does it look 3d looking etc or something else?

See attached photos of typical convergence problem which MAY be what you have.

if the tv doesn't have a vga input, then get a video card that comes out of your computer as s-video, the hiutachi will surely have many s-video inputs.

No sound or picture but menu comes up


Check video source like DVD Player has power, check connecting cords, cable connections etc.
when TV gives menu on screen that means TV is fine and problem could be hooked video signal items.

Even though, logically, you could hook up DVI to DVI, it just won't work with this television. Sorry.
