It could be a tube to **** liquid detergents or cleaners into the water stream. They usually connect to the pump next to where the high pressure hose connects.
Good Luck.

Need the manual

A model number would have been helpful; however this may be your manual:

If the above is not your manual, check your unit for a model number and then review or search the list here:

Compressor pressure only to 60 lb psi and no more

not sure but it sounds like the piston ring is worn out or you might have a bad valve.
p.s. its not your typical valve like in a car.

is it a wet compressor, check the oil.

Need new gun and connection to gun

The DuraBuilt and Coleman pressure washers have a gun that tends to leak through the plastic clyinder wall that holds the plunger that moves with the trigger. You won't see the holes, but if you remove the upper half of the housing, hold the plastic tubes in place with one hand and turn on the water, not the motor, you will see water shooting through the wall.

Amazon sells an exact replacement gun and hose. FAIP PowerWasher Replacement Gun and Hose #80012. Mine does not leak at all and was $29 shipped.
