Try first unplugging and restarting the router.

If on startup the WAN/Internet light on router is off, then call the Internet Service Provider.

If the router is connected to the Internet, then connect to the router using an Ethernet cable and check router setting.

You will need to access control panel entering in Internet Explorer top bar router IP. The IP will be something like 192.168.0.1.

The default IP is listed on the manual. If you do not have the manual, or if default IP does not work, then yo can find the IP accessing the command prompt (type CMD in the run box that you find on start menu).
In command prompt type Ipconfig/all . The router IP will be listed as default gateway.

In control panel check security settings, ensure that there is connection, and try changing the wireless encryption key.

The router is not showing up anymore when i look for networks on my laptop so i cant get online on my laptop anymore but my main computer (which the router is hooked up to) works fine

well the reason the computer that is hooked up finds it is because it is connected to it and there is nothing that would make it not find it what you need to do is press the reset button on the router then everything will be fine and if you changed the password the password will be the one that came with it which is usally on the bottom or you can change it with your main pc i could talk you through the settings but there is no point when the reset button will do the same as i would i hope this has helped and i look forward to hearing how you got on

Running install disc, says does not support operating system

Are you trying to set up router ?
You can set up your router manually, without the CD.
Make sure that your computer is able to go online directly through the modem.
If your computer is able to go online through the modem, that means the modem is working fine.
You will need to connect the computer to the router and the modem to the router.
open the set up page of the router and change the settings of the router according to the ISP.

Moved network

You should be able to switch the two, however, if this requires a network to be set up in order to run both computers through the same router, I recommend having someone do this for you.

Connection lost everytime phones on

The phone and the router are using the same wireless channel and/or wireless band. You can access the router console by inputting it's IP address, usually 192.168.1.1 by default, in the address bar. Once there you can change the channel your wireless signal uses to be something different you phone uses.
