Re: psp power switch is broken

The power switch has been dislodged from its mounting.
The switch will need replacing and you can find one easily and cheap on an internet auction site.

My umd is not working how can i fix this

The problem is that when your brother dropped it ,, he must have broken something in the reader , where now the reader cant be able to read the UMD disks an easy solution is to make there is no dust in the UMD reading place or trapped in the UMD, second of all if the reader is really broken you can go to the nearest psp fix shop he will tell you the problem and whether you wanna fix it or not... finally, the most preferred way is by giving up on UMD and start using psp isos downloaded from the internet for free,, all you need is a memory stick preferred 2gb or higher... and a CFW which u can find tutorials all over youtube finally you just play the games off of your psp memory stick for free... hope it helps ^^

My son dropped his psp on the floor!!!

Yes this can be fixed... it sounds as though the LCD screen [the screen on the inside] has become damaged with the fall. The following website sells the LCDs and does replacements. The cost depends on the model of the PSP that you own. You can find the model number of your PSP on a label inside the back of the PSP if you remove the battery. Check them out:

Dropped my PSP! Screen Blank!

Well if that`s true that if a handheld is broken when dropped then I shouldn`t have any working handhelds. Well, if you still have the companies number you should call Sony and ask them.

ps, tell them it was your friends.

PSP crashes down

Unfortunately your PSP is broken and needs professional repair by Sony. Contact your country's Sony head office and arrange to have it sent in for repair. You might also consider just buying a new one as it will be expensive to repair. I think you got ripped off by that service that tried to "cold solder" your chip.
