- Expand the 'imaging' folder in Device Manager to see if your webcam is there

Check your webcam here by hitting 'allow' in top window

This will confirm the hardware (Cam lead and USB0) are working.

Download and run diagnostic tool - run it through using 'Next' until finished. ( I always get the first alert)

Sometimes you have to 'reboot' the cam if a program cannot find it, or thinks its being used elsewhere.
This is because the software remains hooked - up to the previous program, even after you exit it.
To reboot your cam just unplug it for a couple of seconds
