Question about Amana 3.2 cu. ft. Top-Load Washer
If like the one I just repaired, you have to remove the pump. It is held on by three recessed torx screws ( I think T15 of T20) I had to push the tup to make it way off center so I could insert a 1/4 deep socket with a torx adaptor. This is a pain and took a couple of hours. Once screws are out, the pump drops off of the motor shaft and the belt can be inserted. Make sure to go inside of the idler pulley. Putting the screws back in seemed to go easier than taking them out. I am not a repair tech so just figured things out as I went along. Ther may be an easier way,,, but short of removing the bottom floor I don't know what it would be. good luck.
