The easiest and fastest solution is to buy a power converter for the cigarette lighter or other 12v power source. It would take a lot of time and money to change the capacitors and motors on the DVD Player itself. Some power convertors work with any 12v power in your car.

What video format does this dvd player support.if i write a dvd it is not working in this player

Philips DVP3020 does not support popular vidoe formats such as DivX / xvid / mp4. so if you download movies from the internet and burn to a DVD, chances are it will not work. this philips player is very basic and can only play regular DVDs, VCDs and audio CDs. that is why it is cheap. you should try Philips DVP 3010 or 5140, even better the 5960.

Creating DVDs to play on DVP 5960

Best solution I've found to the "out of order" problem is to copy all the files I want on the CD to a temporary folder and then rename each with a number. If you have 100 or more pictures, start out with the first one you want displayed with 001, and so on. Secondly, if you want to create a Jpeg DVD, you need video editing software. Personally, I use Sony Vegas but there are other, less expensive, options.

Replacing MRI511 transistor

You need to replace complete power supply with following part number..

1-468-742-12 POWER BLOCK (HS8S2U)

Power supply is available in Part Store.

Part MR1511 can not be available and power supply of DVP-NS325
should not be repaired on component level.
