Re: I cant upload my pics!!

Does your camera supports memory card? If it support then directly insert your card into card reader and take your pics. Or else try to reset your camera. If this also doesnt work for you then try to first remove the old software and reinstall it again then restart and try again it will work!

I am unable to upload my pictures to my computer. We recently had several viruses on our computer so a lot of things got cleared off in the process of fixing it. Now I cant upload my pics from my camera.

Reinstall the Nikon software and drivers. If those were removed in the de-virusing of your computer that will fix the problem. If not make sure the USB ports are installed and configured.

I have a Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-H10. When I try to upload photos, a box pops up saying "error occurred, check connections and try again." I've tried many different things and need some help! thank you!

Copy all your pics from the camera to your card and take the card out.

This is a factory reset procedure so you will loose any pics in the internal memory!!

Turn the camera off and take the battery out (including AC power). move the power switch to the ON position and hold down the power button for 15 seconds, then move the power switch to the OFF position and release the button, put the battery back in and power on the camera.
NOTE: you will have to reset the time and date + any previous user settings.

Good luck

Uploading pics

- Connect the smaller end of the USB
cable into the USB port of your DXG.
- Connect the other end of the USB cable to your computer's USB port.
- The Digital video camera’s LCD Panel will turn on and will display
the PC Connection Menu
- Press the select button up or down button to select Mass Storage
Device option on the menu screen.

Goto my computer, you can see new 1 drive appear (or 2 if you have SD card in your DXG). So now you can copy/upload your pictures to your computer hard disk.

Wont upload pics

I tend to NOT use the cables that come with my cameras. They are slow, and often incompatible with whatever operating system or other software you have online.

I would simply take out the camera's memory card (XD or SD or whatever it may be,) and buy a $10 USB card reader for that chip format. It's faster, simpler, better, and you don't have to deal with the camera's proprietary software. Hope this helps!

Cannot upload pics from camera to PC

Hi Ray;
Try uninstalling the Fuji software completely, through the Windows control panel. Don't use the supplied software at all. Make sure the camera is unplugged from the computer. Open "my computer" and note which drives are present. Now plug in the camera (still turned off) to the USB port. Turn the camera power switch on. Wait and see if a new drive icon shows up. It may take a minute or so. If you get a new icon (probably Fuji DSC or similar), you should be able to open the new drive and access the images through the various folders. If not, can you see images on the camera screen (when not connected to computer)? If yes, maybe a bad cable. If no, could be corrupted images on card.
