Hey im gavin from S.A and my 6234 cant connect to the internet if i wane use internet in my apps.thinks my phone settings but can connect to the internet but not with my apps please help i know its an vodaphone but using mtn thanks

first of all get the latest software. i think the latest one is ovi and not the nokia pc suiteafter having it make sure you are using the correct settings in your mobile then try to connect itif it doesn't connect call your customer care and tell themthere are few networks for which the settings in ovi must be entered manuallyas you have not provided your service provider name i cant help you out much
Im using my S8003 as modem, here's how im doing it.
1. need to install ur samsung pc studio 2. connect ur Samsung Jet via Bluetooth or USB 3. click the toolbox and choose internet connector 4. then just select which country and provider
Note: just make sure that ur internet settings in ur Samsung jet is configured with ur provider.

But make sure you choose PC Studio You must connect to computer with New PC Studio!! the toolbox and internet connecter cant be find on NPS You can use your Samsung Jet as a wireless modem. So its possible. All you need is your phone cable and NPS. (and internet on phone ofc) Easy!
So you dont need any apps or whatever on your phone. I always use this method when im in train with laptop.

Do a master reset from settings where the factory code is 12345. If this ain the problem take it to a service and they will do that for free because this is a common 6234 problem and one of the many problems that determinated the Nokia company to stop producing this type of phone!
gday, you can buy the data cable and disk on ebay under phones, then go to accessories, then to data cable they come as a pair. cost about 7 to 8 dollars delivered. hope it helps. linz9000
