Question about RCA Boating
My battery is fine, no problems starting engine. My fishfinder says low amps and none of the nav or courtsey lights go on. The bilge pump & live well also not coming on. Part of the nav lights come on now in the off position
It sounds as though the ground has been lost either at the batteries or along the way from the battery. Check for a good ground at the grounding shunt by using a known live source. If that is good you can run through the process of elimination by checking from the ground shunt to the pigtails, make sure each one is clean and tight. The fuses are often found to be corroded within, if this is the case you might want to change them over to marine quality breakers. It's worth it in the long run. Also make sure your constant feed to the bilge pump is live, it doesn't make sense for those two units to be out, especially the bilge pump. Check the back of your main battery switch for any corrosion or loosness.
