Battery in a Polar F7 heart rate monitor

Hello
You can change the battery in your polar f7 if the battery is worn out.
1. Insert the tip of a pen knife into the lifting point and lifting the back up. The back of the watch is only pressed into place and will come off easily this way.
2. Grab the small clip that is extending across the surface of the battery with a pair of tweezers. Slide the tweezers toward the end that hooks down into the watch. Pull the hook end of the clip out of the watch and remove the clip from the battery

3. Match the old battery with a new one at any electronic store. The store will be able to read the writing imprinted on the battery to make sure that you get the correct battery type for your heart monitor.

4. Press the new battery into the watch making sure that the writing on the battery is facing up.

5. Press the holding clip back into place. Handle the clip with tweezers only, since it is very thin and can be bent or lost easily. Once it is in place, press the back of the watch on.

Polar RS200 kills batteries

Got the same problem - changed battry in the RS200 twice, dead after about a week. Bought a "quality" battery, lastet fro 3 weeks, dead again.. :-(
This 4. time, after replacing battery again, I did try to Master Reset the RS200 (see www.polar.fi under support in forums) link: http://forum.polar.fi/showthread.php?t=14065 - but also TAKE CARE to reset to factory default!! You will loose all stored data!!
I am now only waiting (and running) to see how long the battery will last this time...
This might be the problem... give it a try?

New battery needed and fitted to a Polar heart rate monitor

This is really easy to do yourself. Get a CR1632 battery, unscrew the four screws on the back (dont tip the watch as there is a small spring in the watch), unclip the metal band holding in the old battery noting the way 'round the battery is in (minus side up), pop in new battery and push clip back down, when re-fitting the back make sure the spring mentioned earlier lines up with the white sticker with a hole in it on the inside of the watch back, screw down the back. After you have re done all your settings you may need to re-aquaint the watch with the strap, to do this put on the watch and strap, set the heart monitoring going, bring the watch up close to the 'Polar' logo on the chest strap until the time is displayed, should now be all set up.

Manual for polar CE0537, where can I find it?

CE Marking (CE-Marking), is also called sometimes "CE Mark", as shown on the top of this page, is a mandatory mark for many (estimatively around 70%) of the products sold on the EFTA plus European Union (EU) market (total 28 countries) and it is often referred as the "Trade Passport to Europe" for non-EU products.

Polar's CE marking is CE0537. It is on all Polar products.

It is not the model number. The model number on monitors is printed on the back and is usually above and sometimes below the Polar stamp.

My model number was hard to read. It was nearly transparent. I did locate the manual for my model at:

Installing a new battery in a Polar F4

Follow that contact (you say pin) all the way into the movement and you will find it hooked (clipped) on the plastic hook. Take tweezers and unclip it by pulling the leg outwards from hook.

Rate, please.

Casio CE-4630

Hi.
I don't have an error list for the 4630, but you could try a flag clear first. this will not cause any data loss:

Turn key to PROGRAM mode.
Turn power off at wall.
Hold RECEIPT FEED down - keep holding it.
Turn power on at wall.
Wait 5 seconds, then let go of RECEIPT FEED. You should see "FFFFFFFFFF"
Press SUBTOTAL
Wait for print, then turn back to REG mode.

If that doesn't work, let me know.

Polar F11 not responding

I' advise to start with battery check. If the battery is ok, then you will need a professional to find the cause of malfunction.
