Switch off the vibrating alert in sigmatel fxd s33i
When i keep my phone in silent mode, it vibrates then too for either a call or a message thus disturbing me and others. Is there any way of switching off the vibration completely in silent mode?

Editing the Normal - Message Profile
1.Touch >Settings > Sound Profile >Normal. •Touch the name field and not the radio button to the right.
2.Touch drop-down menu (upper-right of the screen) and selectMessage.
3.Touch the Message Alert Type field, select one of the following and touchSave: • Melody: the phone rings using the ring melody selected in the Ring tone menu. • Vibration: the phone vibrates 3 times. •Vibration & Melody: the phone vibrates and plays a melody simultaneously. • Mute: the phone is silent and does not play a melody or vibrate.
4.Touch the Message Alert Tone field, touch to select a ringtone and touchSave.
5.Touch the Message Alert Repetition pull-down and select one of the following options and touchSave: • Once: repeats the message alert once. • Periodic: repeats the message alert periodically.
6.Drag the Alert Tone Volume slider to the volume level you desire (range is 1-7).
7.Touch the Vibration Pattern field, then touch to select Vibration 1 - 3.
8.TouchSave to return to the Sound Profiles menu
You go to: main menu->settings->sounds & alerts (or something like that)-> vibrating alert Open this and you will find 3 choises (on,on if silent, off). Choose "ON". Then vibrating alert will be always turned ON,even if You putt it on "silent".
To place the handset in Silent / Vibrate Mode Step 1 To place the handset in Silent / Vibrate Only Mode, hold down the pound key (#) for about 2 seconds. To exit Silent / Vibrate Mode, perform the same action while in Silent / Vibrate Only Mode. You will see a confirmation message for Silent / Vibrate Only Mode, each time you enter or exit Silent / Vibrate Mode. The SCH-U470 (Juke) handset will vibrate rather than ring when you receive a phone call, message or alert while in Silent Vibrate Only Mode. Step 2 While in standby mode, press the volume key, located on the left side of the handset, then select either “Vibrate Only", “Alarm Only” or “All Sounds Off”. To disable perform the same action while in Silent / Vibrate Mode. The SCH-U470 (Juke) handset will vibrate rather than ring when you receive a phone call, message or alert while in Silent / Vibrate Only Mode.
You can change the settings of the selected active profile.
Select Menu > Settings > Tones > Incoming call alert, Ringing tone,
Ringing volume, Vibrating alert, Push to talk settings, Message alert
tone, Instant msg. alert tone, Keypad tones, or Warning tones. You can
find the same settings in the Profiles menu.
To place the handset in silent / vibrate mode follow the steps below:
