Front bulbs are accessed through the glove compartment, remove the round caps and you can get at the bolbs from behind

For the rear bulbs you need to remove tha full indicator unit by unscrewing the screw and taking the unit out. the bulb is accessed from behind

Fuel starved, carb should have an idle adjustment which sounds like it is fine. Look for the second adjustment

Vespa et4 125 fuel starvation? Cuts out on me... Help?

Check the main jet is set up correctly. Make sure there is plenty of fuel in the float chamber, if not check the fuel line again. There should be a good amount of petrol flowing from the carb feed pipe with the fuel tap on. It should fill a pint container fairly quickly.

Usually when a mower dies, it is a fuel delivery problem. Have you changed the filter? Is the gas fresh. Also has the air filter and spark plug been changed recently? the Carburetor may need to cleaned. Take the air cleaner off and spray some carb cleaner in the throat of the carb. Also, take about 1/3 bottle of carb/fuel system cleaner and add it to the gas in the tank.. For the new mower engines, there is no fine-tune adjustments on the carburetor. Also clean the exterior of the carb with carb spray.

21cc starts then dies. I cleaned the tank, replaced fuel line, fuel filter, and cleaned carb with carb spray. However, it still dies after a few seconds from starting. Recommendations? Thanks, - Troy

The fact that it starts is a very good sign that there is not a major problem. Here are some random suggestions from my vast experience with small engines, start with the simple ones, and work your way towards the more difficult/costly: Air filter, be sure choke is working properly, clean carb with compressed air, replace internal parts in carb, gas cap, leaky primer bulb, clogged spark screen in exaust, carbon build up in exaust port/muffler, idle/mixture screw adjustment, faulty plug wire, short in kill switch, bad fuel or mixture. Also, when you say, or I say clean the carb, I mean the INSIDE of the carb, not the outside. I hope this helps, keep me posted as to what the problem was!

Hi, Mike_hall558 and the usual suspects are:
1. Fuel cap or fuel tank is not venting properly.
2. Fuel filter clogged.
3. Fuel line pinched or kinked.
4. Float needle and seat sticking.
5. Float level too low.
6. Carburetor bowl vent line clogged/blocked/pinched.
7. Idle adjusting screw set too low.
8. Air/fuel mixture screw set too lean.
9. Idle port, transfer ports, slow air jet clogged.
10. Slow fuel jet clogged.
11. Faulty fuel pump.

Saw starts then dies. Changed fuel ine soaked carb

Check the fuel filter, air cleaner and muffler for plugging. Was the carburetor disassembled when soaked and did you use compressed air to blow out all passages? If the carburetor jet screws have been moved, preset them as follows: Turn both H and L screws CW to stops (lightly), then back out CCW each screw 1-1/2 turns. Start the engine and allow to warm up. Pull the throttle full on and adjust H CW until the engine speeds up somewhat but 4-stroking. Proper adjustment is when the engine 4-strokes, but immediately 2-strokes when cutting. Allow to idle and adjust L CW until the engine runs fairly well, but still allows the engine to 'follow the throttle'. Adjust idle speed screw so that chain stops turning, but the engine continues to run. Hope this helps!

Craftsman GT5000 W/22hp B+S surges and dies when warm

Replace the spark-plug, check the quality of the fuel(gas that is mixed or was stored more then three months is stale and wont fire correctly) make sure the fuel and air filter not clogged. If there is no change then your problem may be more technical, a nest may be restricting the govenor or you missed something with the carb and there still is debre causing it to stall.
