Question about Toshiba Satellite A135-S4527 Notebook
You can use your reset disk that you should have made when the password was set. If you don't have that and this is the admin account on the computer then that poses a problem. There is a solution but it will cost you money and you need another computer to do it. I have never used this software and cannot say it will work(see link below). Without that reset disc it will be very difficult to reset the password. If you reset the password from another admin account you could lose all your e-mails and personal files for that user. The link below is for software that you can use to reset your password. Good luck.

Below is a link to a program that you can download and burn to a disc. That disc will then be placed in your computer for booting. When it boots there are steps to take to reset the passwords. Study and print the link when it comes up because the writer does an excellent job of taking you through the process one step at a time. Please do exactly as he instructs on the page. You are actually writing new instructions to the registry and if you don't pay attention and follow along you may seriously screw the computer up. This is used as a last resort but I have this utility and have used it with 100% success. You will need a free untility called "image burn" to burn the ISO file onto a cd so that it become bootable. The program is free and can be had at www.download.com. Once you run amage burn it will ask where the source files are, to the right is a little icon to browse your computer where the files you download are. Then pick your cd burner as the destination. Make sure you have a blank cd to burn the program to. Here is the link to the guide and in the first paragraph or two there is a link to download the actual program. Just look for the download links further down the page.
