You need a star screw driver. All lowes and home depo would have a small set of these hex changable that you can take in and out of a screw driver. Ask them at the tool counter for assistnace. You need one of the smallest size star fitting bits.

Lamp light blinking red

From your description it sounds like the lamp bulbs needs to be replaced.
You need one of these:
http://www.amazon.com/Hitachi-50VS69-Watt-RPTV-Replacement/dp/B006C58MOI
NOTE: DO NOT TOUCH THE GLASS PART OF THIS BULB. The smudges from your fingers can show up on the image projected onto your screen and make things look blurry.
Once you have the new bulb then turn off the TV and unplug it. On the back panel there is a rectangle on the left with a screw holding it on. Use a philips head screwdriver to loosen the screw then slide the rectangular panel to the left and pull it off. Inside will be the old lamp bulb. Use the screw driver again to remove the screw holding the lamp bulb in and pull the lamp bulb out (it may be hot). Insert the new bulb and then screw it back in. Place the panel back on and screw it back in as well. Make sure the screws are tight or the TV may not turn on. You can now plug the TV back in and turn it on. If done correctly this should resolve the issue.

Clock light out

There is a small bulb behind the clock. First you need to pop out the clock with a small flat head screw driver disconnect the plug in the back and there is a small bulb. The bulb twist out with a screw driver and then twist the new one in. I believe it is a dealer part only. It takes about 5 minutes to change not hard.

How do i change the brake light on jeep liberty 2006?

1) You will need to open the rear swing door.

2) On the inside jam there are two torx headed screws (T-15's if I remember correctly).

3) Unscrew the two torx screws.

4) The light is now held by two mounting tabs (small spherical headed plastic sets that go through a rubber grommet).

5) You will need to pry the light casing off (easy pressure with a good size flat head screw driver will do the trick).

6) The light bulbs are twist mount settings inside the light casing.

7) Twist out the mount setting, change the bulbs, and reset the light mountings.

8) To put the light casing push the light casing back on and put in the screws. Everything else will work in reverse when it comes to assembling the whole unit.

Automatic transmission panel in my 2001 Toyota Corrola should light up when headlights are on, but this has stopped happening. Any idea why?

The bulb located adjacent to the shifter has burned out.
It is easily accessible. Remove any visible screws, including opening the glove/storage lid and removing the screws in there. Once all the visible screws have removed, the panels snap off.
Did a bulb change-out on this exact problem/exact vehicle recently. It took less than 30-minutes from Start to finish. You only need a Phillips head screw driver and a Flat head screw driver for prying the panels off.
TIP: Take the bulb with you when finding a replacement to ensure you get/receive the right size and type. There will be an the bulb or on the base of the bulb a set of letter and numbers telling you the particular bulb you need.
Let me know if this helped, or if you have additional information or questions. Feel free to contact me at FixYa.com!

I have an akai Pt46Dl10 the picture wont come on i have sound

if this happened after you replaced the bulb its because it is the wrong bulb. there are 2 bulbs for this tv; a J and a Z (have to look at your serial number on the back of the TV in the middle. if it ends in a Z you get the Z bulb, J get a J bulb) If you haven't replaced the bulb, that could be the problem. take off the panel on the back of the TV (opposite side of the PC input) there are 6 screws, I used needle nose plyers to get them out. then after you get the back cover to the lamp off there are 2 stainless steel screws that need to be taken off the housing. Pull the housing out and check the bulb. if it is black it is no good. Make sure you put the back panel on properly again (knob on the cover facing down towards PC input) and screw it back in, or www.nextdaydlp.com which I think that is the problem! GET THE RIGHT BULB!

Good sound no picture

I have the same TV. On the back of the TV there is a square panel. Unscrew the six screws (the panel is on the opposite side of the inputs, I used needle nose plyers) after you take the panel off (make sure the tv is unplugged) you will see a black "housing" with two stainless steel screws. Unsrew those two screws and pull out the housing. there will be 4 screws to take off (uses a special tool called a T-8 TROX screwdriver and replace bulb. BE CAREFUL for this TV there is 2 different bulbs. If your serial number ends in a J you need a different bulb then if it ends in a Z (serial number is on the back of the tv in the middle) I recommend shopping www.nextdaydlp.com as they clearly label there bulbs, plus they are cheap!

How to change out blub

panel on the back of tv, opposite side of inputs. 6 screws takes a special screwdriver. I used needle nose plyers. once in the back, unscrew 2 stainless steel screws to take out black housing. www.nextdaydlp.com has your bulb. make sure you have the serial number off the back of your TV at the end of your serial number you will find either a Z or J. DONT GET THE WRONG BULB! taking the bulb out of the housing is different. you can either take a drill with a small bit to get the nuts out, or purchase the screwdriver called a T-8 TROX screwdriver.

Back Up light bulb replacement

Sounds like you have Torx head screws. You should be able to buy an inexpensive torx screw driver set to take care of the access problem.
