Question about Hitachi EDX-3280 LCD Projector
How to reset filter timer
Most projectors use a menu-driven system...enter the menu, look for the lamp reset menu--DON'T RESET THE LAMP! Usually the filter reset option is with or near the lamp reset option. And, most probably, you'll have to use the remote to access the menu options.Hope this helps. Btw, have you cleaned the filter recently?? I clean mine once a week! Projectors generate LOTS of heat...Any extra heat ages the internal components prematurely causing lamps to fail, LCD panels to break down, and circuit boards to display incorrect images. ---Rick

Replacing the filter should reset the timer. Make sure you used the correct replacement filter.
