Question about Microsoft Xbox Console
This error actually happens because the CPU and the sensors on the back of the DVD drive overheat.
To fix it you should send it in or use a good repair guide to fix it.
Hope this helps.

Cd/dvd cleaner may or may not help. I've fixed a few 360 with the same error by doing the following:
Note this will void warranty if you have any.
Take apart the 360 and remove the dvd, open the dvd drive exposing the laser.
take a cup of water and bring it to a boil and let it settle for a minute
dip a q tip in the boiled water wipe off any excess and gently wipe down the laser lense. (Ive tried alcohol to clean the lasers but this gives me better results)
close the drive back up and test it before you close the whole unit up.
If you still get the error you may have to adjust the laser lens potentiometer to give it a bit more power.
