Hi, Do you mean DVD jumps / skips forward in playback? If yes, please clean optical laser lens in player. It sounds optical lens has thin layer of dust and causing ' tracking error ' in playback. Put CD Lens Cleaner disc in player and press play to clean optical lens by cleaning disc and if problem still exist, need to clean lens manually with good quality cotton bud. Hope this will solve your problem. Thanks.
Just try to clean your remote, this the common problem of dirty contacts of remote it plays a certain unit but to the other won't play.Just open it take a toothbrush with an alcohol brush the remote control board, and dry it for 1minute and close it back then check if working..
DVD players come out of the factory region locked. You can either buy an player that does not have a set region (you can only get these online) or you can unlock the DVD player on a computer using software.
I have the same problem and haven't found a solution for it. It looks as if this comes from DVD security. When playing a copied DVD it has no problems, but an original has problems, some more then others. I am very curious for the solution.
Most likley your scart cable is the culprit, check whether the scart cable is the AV I/O type. And also better check the audio settings of the DVD player. Hope u hook up the speakers correctly.
