Please defrag the sony sandisk with windows defrag .
it will load after a defrag, if this doesnt work , check the integrity of the gaming software by nintendo.

also the format of the nintendo system may be fat 16, and your 4gb may be ntfs or fat 32. so this will not work if its fat 32 or ntfs system
check this into my computer ... right click disk managment
it will display the file system format.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

After inserting R4 comes up loading then goes to

You missed some files when placing them inside of the folders when you open your "Micro SD card".

Go on youtube or somthing and try to search for the files to place on your R4. Or ask a friend and copy his/her whle card to yours.

My ds keeps saying loading when i insert r4 card

Make sure you have the correct kernel loaded onto the card. Also some r4 cards only accept up to a limited amount of gb's. I think mine only can hold up to a 2gb sd micro card. When I first used it I was using a 4gb card and it would stick on the loading screen until I loaded everything onto a 2gb card .... hope this helps

Nintendo DS doesn't recognise Micro SD card

find the website of the manufacturer/ card type and download the software you need...

Try reformatting the card to fat i think, then put the files(must be latest version, 1.18) onto the card. Should work.
