You can also press and hold the ctrl key then press the " + " key to make your fonts get bigger...the " - " to make them smaller. nothing technical...just a easy shortcut with keys.

Are you trying to change the dpi settings? If this is so, try the following:

For Windows XP -
Right click on your desktop and select "display properties".
A box will show up. At the top of that box, select the "settings tab" then click on the advanced button. From there, make sure you are in the "general" section by clicking the proper tab near the top. There will be a dropdown box where you can change the dpi setting. This will increase the font sizes for you.

In Windows Vista -
Click your start menu and go to the control panel. When in your control panel, you will see a search bar at the top. Just type in "adjust font size". It will bring you to the Personalization, adjust font size (dpi) option. Click on that and you can increase the font size there.

Windows 7 -
Right click on your desktop and select personalize. On the right, select display. You can adjust the dpi from here.

If you are looking for the magnifying tool, this can easily be accessed by going to your start menu and typing in "Magnifier" in the search box and pressing enter. This will open the magnifier tool. This acts as a magnifying glass and enlarges areas of the screen, though I doubt this is what you are looking for. You can also access the magnifier by pressing and holding the windows logo key on your keyboard and pressing "u". This will bring up the accessability options and you can select the magnify tool there. But I'm sure you are talking about the dpi settings, so try that first (my previous post)

Changing font size for reading in Outlook and Gmail

To read Mail in a larger font in Outlook:
  • Hold down Ctrl while turning the scroll wheel on your mouse down.
In Outlook 2007 and later, alternatively
  • Open the message in its own window.
  • Click Other Actions.
  • Select Zoom... from the menu.
  • Choose the desired zoom level.
  • Click OK.
Outlook will not remember the zoom level.

Since this does not work with plain text emails (the mouse wheel does), also select Tools ' Options... from the menu, go to the Mail Format tab, click Fonts... and use the Choose Font... button under When composing and reading plain text: to choose a bigger font. The above instructions are courtesy of About.com.

Here is a link referring to reading Gmail.

How to maximize facebook font

Go to the top of your browser on the left side and click on view. Go to zoom and click on zoom text only or if you have an option of how much to zoom check something like 125%. This has been a recurring problem. Do not change the font size. Sometimes you have to repeat the zoom process a few times to increase it to where you want it.

How can I increase the font in AOL (Firefox), which changed with an update?

For the earlier versions of Firefox, here are the instructions on how to increase your font size:

1)Click on View on the browser Menu Bar.
2)Highlight Text Size with your mouse and notice that you now have 3 choices that will allow you to increase or decrease text size.
3)Increase or Decrease your font size and you will see a change in text size on this web page. You can also hold down <CTRL> and type "+" or "-" to change the font size.
4)Select Normal or <CTRL> and "0" to return to the default text size.

For Firefox Version 4.0

There are 2 ways on how to change the font size of the page that you are viewing.

FIRST OPTION: Changing Font size through the TOOLS Menu:

1)Click on "Tools" on the browser Menu Bar, then click "Options".
2)You will be getting the Options Window Menu to change the settings of Firefox. In this case, since we would want to change the font size, you would need to click on the "Content" tab.
3)On the Content Tab Menu, under "Fonts & Color", you can change the size to whichever size you want.
4)After changing the size, click on the OK button and it should save the changes right away.

SECOND OPTION: Changing Font Size through the VIEW menu:

1)Click on "View" on the browser Menu Bar, then click "Zoom". (There should be a side option that will appear after you highlight Zoom.) Select or put a tick on "Zoom text only".
2)Click on "View" on the browser Menu Bar again, then click "Zoom". (There should be a side option that will appear after you highlight Zoom). This time, you can click on "Zoom In" or "Zoom Out" to play with the desired font size that you want on your browser page.

That simple! I hope this information helps you and if it does, please do not forget to rate me.

Unfortunately, there is no one single way to enlarge the text in Outlook. I can point you to a few pages that give instructions for enlarging different types of text in Outlook.

Change column headers and the like:

Change the fonts in messages you send:

Zoom in for easier message reading:

I hope these give you what you need.
