Question about Western Digital Passport 320GB External USB 2.0 Hard Drive

1 Answer

I'm trying to export photos which I did successfully with the first batch, about 12,000 items. With the second try of 2166 items, I receive a message that says "Unable to create/volumes/My Passport/AWbc.JPG" -- total size of all photos is 36.0GB. I am a computer "user", but not familiar with how to solve issues. Thanks.

Well, you're correct as it does work in smaller batches; but how did I manage to transfer the 12,000+ the first time by "selecting all" and exporting?

You cannot move that much at a time is the meaning of the error message.

Transfer the pictures in batches.

I have a problem with fuji hs35, when i am making a photo of purple items, this camera is turning them into blue ones (not on lcd). JPEG and RAW (RAF) no matter what i do purple by fuji is blue.

This could be the White Balance setting at time of shooting or at time of Export/Import. Check your White Balance setting, if that is ok, then check your export/import settings on the software you use, perhaps it was changed previously and you may be using the old settings - try using "As-Shot"

I'm exporting photos to my camera roll, and its not doing anything a stuck loading, it says 'Exporting to camera roll.'

Try re-installing the app. In the case of the new iOS 6, it should ask you whether it is allowed to access your camera roll, if you declined then, that may cause problems. Re-install the app and see if that fixes it?

How do I sell some thing on E-Bay? what is needed and what steps do I have to take?

Go to and click on the the heading SELL in the upper right. This is a pull down menu. I suggest that you read each heading through to familiarize yourself with selling. You will read how to open an account, how to pay your fees, how to receive payment for an item and how to list an item, post a phot etc.. Ebay has a great selling system and easy instructions to follow.

Good luck to you and Thank you for using FixYa.

Error 1334 when trying to install photo explosion

I had the same problem. One of the responses indicated a second sent of CDs had the same result. I returned my software and the second set worked. The second set had a sticker containing a serial number for the Drive Erase Pro. This was on the plastic wrapper on the CDs. I did not have this on my first set of CDs. I am guessing the second set is an updated set of disks or a different "batch". If your CDs did not have this sticker, there might be a bad batch of CDs. Not sure how you can determine if you have the set with the sticker without opening the software package.

I had returned my software to Best Buy. The person at the help desk thought the second CD looked suspicious. Looked like there were small bubbles in the CD.

No matter, the second set of CDs loaded no problem. I did not make any PC changes between trying to install the "bad" set and the set that worked.

Hope this helps!
