-   I bought this DVDR05 recorder 3 years ago and didn't need to use it more than twice.
I decided to start using it more and now it won't power on (even though I changed the remote's battery) and it emits a high pitched hiss when it's connected to a power source.
I'd apppreciate any solutions offered~Cindy
