The person you are calling may have your specific number blocked? OR, the person you are calling has "Anonymous Call Rejection " activated, and you are not transmitting your Caller ID information ? (an internal setting on your phone.)
my hunch is the ear speaker of the phone is faulty and needs to be replaced, have you tried calling using either the handsfree/ Loudspeaker or the headset if you can hear with one of these then its surely the earspeaker to be faulty
LG Neon cannot block specific numbers. If you have this phone on the AT&T network you can add a feature to your account called "Smart Limits" and block certain numbers from calling you, however if the person calling blocks their number they will still be allowed to call you. Samsung phones have an "Auto Reject" feature that rejects calls from certain people as soon as they call. That is a feature on most Samsung models, so no additional fee.
Caller ID on cellular phones works different than on landline phones. Unless the person calling is saved to your phonebook, it will tell you the number of the person calling, but not the name (unless the person calling has caller ID blocking, in which case it will say blocked). There is not way to change this, as it is a limitation of cellular caller ID systems.
Find your sim card package to get puk code to unlock lg neon password before your sim get blocked. If you can't find your sim card package you still can unlock lg phone with puk code from your network provider, call them and make request about puk code for your sim card number.
LG Xenon - for adjusting the audible caller announce feature: hit the options menu in the top right corner and select call alert,
you can set the phone to announce the name or number of the person
calling/texting before the ring.
The person that left the "Solution #1" is incorrect. You can go to a website called Trapcall.com and set your phone up so that you can find out the number of the unknown caller. Unfortunately there is a small fee associated with this feature and it also disables your voicemail. I think it is worth it to have a solution for a troublesome caller.
