The Wurlitzer 2900 is a jukebox that plays 45 RPM records. To stop it from playing the same record over and over, you can try the following steps:
Locate the jukebox's control panel: The control panel should have buttons that allow you to select and play records, as well as buttons to control the volume and lighting.
Press the stop button: The stop button will usually be labeled "Stop" or have a red triangle symbol. Pressing this button should stop the jukebox from playing the current record and return it to the selection mode.
Change the record: Use the jukebox's control panel to select a different record to play.
Adjust the play mode: The Wurlitzer 2900 may have a setting that determines how many times it will play a record before moving on to the next selection. You can check the jukebox's manual or settings menu to see if this is the case, and adjust it if necessary.
If these steps do not work, there may be a mechanical issue with the jukebox. In this case, it is recommended that you seek the assistance of a professional technician to diagnose and repair the problem.
the reason the recorder comes up with the message "this disc wont play or record" simply is that the format of the disc is not compatible with the player.
1. check the format of the recorded disc, 2. and check the formats the recorder can play to confirm this.

it appears to be recording but is it really?
when you are recording there are two levels you should see moving up and down on the screen. the input volume and the recording volume per track. dont forget to arm the track. tascam has a silly way to arm the track on some of there unit. its combination of buttons. something like hold down the record button and press the track arm button then release both. when youre ready to record press play.
This system is too old to support long play minidiscs, only systems with MDLP written on them or the HiMD systems will play and record mindiscs in long play mode.
are you finalizing the discs after recording? some recorders do this automaticaly others have it as an option you have to select.. without finalization they will play on your own recorder but not on other machines.
Hi,
Maybe it's the preview play option of the player that you are using. It only plays a part of the recording for you to identify if it is the right recording that you are trying to find because the recorded allows you to record more than one file.
As far as I can tell, and yes the documentation is skimpy, when you press the 'record/play' button the video recording pauses. Make sure you press the video icon button, not the 'record/play' button to get it started again. If you press the 'record/play' button, it goes into a 'play back' mode.
