My e-mail address has changed. How do i changeit wit you?

On any FixYa page, click the down-arrow next to your avatar in the upper right, click "My Profile," click the "My Account" tab, edit the "Email Address" box, then click the "Save My Information" button.

The above procedure changes your email address with FixYa. If you want to change on another website, you'll have to do it on that site.

What numbers on camera screens corner that's f3.0 1/30 ISO 200

f3.0 is the size of the lens opening. The larger the number, the smaller the opening.1/30 is the shutter speed.ISO 200 is the sensitivity speed of the sensor. The higher the number, the less light you need for a good picture. For example, 400 is twice as fast as 200...800 is 4 times faster, etc.

How to make my distant scenes look closer

You can do that in any photo editing program. It's called "crop". It allows you to cut out what you don't want giving the impression that you were much closer. It helps if you have the camera set to take pictures at its maximum number of megapixels and the high quality setting.

I have a canon digital ixus i zoom but everytime i take a photo outside in the sun the photo is to bright?can you tell me what settings i need to go on ?

I'm assuming you have an SD30 camera? Press the Func/Set button and scroll to the top of the menu bar on the left. Scroll to the manual setting, now scroll down to the Exp setting and scroll over to -2/3. Scroll down to the ISO speed and select 100 or 200. Scroll down to the light setting and select Day Light. You can also try playing around with the color setting by selecting Vivid, and the file size set to Large Smooth. This should help/

Batteries wear out quickly -- after 6 - 10 photos. I've tried a variety of brands and quality - both rechargeable and non-rechargeable.

Hi there Jeroldine.

Battery drain the one of the top things that make people upset over cameras. It siits number one over lens errors. The only thing I can say is that your LCD screen is the culprit. The LCD screen is a vampire that sucks batteries quicker than zooming the lens. There is nothing that you can do about it. The amps that a camera uses during normal operation is pretty severe.
You can do some things to help lessen the impact on your batteries.
First. Turn off your LCD screen. Use the viewfinder to sight in all your shots. You can save up to 75 percent of your battery life if you turn it off and use the viewfinder. Second is...zoom less. What usually happens is, you start to take a shot, and you want to get closer, so you so you zoom in. Then you might decide that maybe you have zoomed too much. Then you wind up zooming back out. - Instead, try and get closer to your subject if you can.
There is no magic fix for battery drain. Just remember that everytime you perform a function on your camera, you drain the battery. Hope this helps.

Sony DCR-SR200 screen slowly "scrolls" vertically like the V-Hold on an old television

After researching various flexible cable numbers from different posts, I found that the SR-200 uses a unique cable, FP-610, part number 187145711. This has been discontinued and replace with part number 187145721 (same cable also used in DCR-SR300).

If you are in doubt with your camera, just take it apart up to the point of seeing the ribbon cable. The part number is printed on the side.

I found two sources for this so far, www.nexttronics.com and https://servicesplus.us.sony.biz/sony-parts.aspx. Price ranged from $30 to $40 plus shipping.
