Driver is incompatible wuth VISTA using USB port. VISTA drivers for trv-350 apparently hook up to IEEE1394 port. I have exactly the same problem. This camera won't connect to a Vista environment to download video to PCI have exactly the same problem. This camera won't connect to a Vista environment to download video to PC

well if you were to burn them via windows vista, I'm sure you could do that directly from your computer, if not I'd just talk to a real person (custumer service line, a shop etc.)
I've just bought a new computer for video editing, I'm aware that this model DCR-HC40E does not run under vista. Question is, is there a driver that actually be able to drive this? If so please link me the site. Or is there any other solution.
