Bluetooth connection problem

I can't get my HP Pavilion zd8000 laptop to connect to my Sony Ericsson k800i mobile phone via Bluetooth. My phone has no problems connecting to other Bluetooth devices. Any ideas anyone?

-   When I first set up my HP Pavilion, I disabled bluetooth, because I had no devices. Now have device and want to connect, but no bluetooth icon in systray. Device manager showes HP integrated module with Bluetooth wireless technology, but cannot make it display any useful info. Cannot enable. Any suggestions how to turn my Bluetooth back on?-   apb_ny

The computer have 3 buttons. One is the DVD, the second is de Media Player, and the third is the wireless devices switch. If this button is not lighted, all wireless connections are off (both WIFI and Bluetooth).
