I do not know who or what an administrator is how to contact them

That happens when you are running a user account that is not the administrator account. In many ways this is smart because trojans and viruses have the same trouble installing. In schools or office buildings where they want to control who installs what on the computers it makes less problems for an administrator to fix. In your case switch users and log into your administrator account in control panel see if you can give your usual user account administrator privileges, shut down administrator account and log into your usual account and see if it now has administrator privileges in the control panel/user accounts. If not then install software while logged in the administrator account but install for all users from now on. Or you can only use the administrator account and set it up the way you like it (like your regular user account)

I have a Redfield 3x 9x riflescope with a bent horizontal cross-hair. It is an old scope I've had for years. I was wondering if it is covered by warranty? If so,where do I send it for repair?

Redfield was purchased by Leupold in 2008, and is only able to repair and service Redfield scopes made in 2010 or later. If it was made before 2010, then it isn't covered by warranty, but Leupold does suggest contacting Iron Sight, Inc, if you want to ask about repairs and associated costs. Here's what the Redfield/Leupold website says:

When Leupold & Stevens, Inc.® purchased Redfield in April 2008, it did not acquire the capability to repair Redfield products manufactured prior to this purchase. The repair tooling and parts were purchased years ago by other repair services. Leupold & Stevens, Inc. will service its manufactured Redfield product (manufactured from 2010 forward) in accordance with its published warranty.
At this time, should a non-Leupold & Stevens, Inc. Redfield product require service, we suggest contacting Iron Sight, Inc. (918) 445-2001. This contact is provided for information purposes only, as Iron Sight Inc. is not affiliated with Leupold & Stevens Inc. They should be contacted directly for all information regarding repair, service and associated charges.

Iam having toshiba laptop loded with vindow vista hom primium with office 2003 The problem is that i am not able to page in landscap modewhen i try to print he ask addminatran permission whot to do

Ur printer setup may be installed for administrator only. So what u have to do is if ur not the default administrator, login as administrator. Usually that login will not be shown. To show that, when the system is booted up, press ctrl alt and del twice.
Then give user id as administrator and password. To modify administrator user settings , Rclick on my computer and go to manage. From there go to local users and groups and go to users. U can do any change from there. It is a common problem related to Home Premium. By modifieng user settings as above, U can enter the credentials next time. Or U can run the office application as the admin. (Hope ur using an admin acount. If u want to check that, use the user accounts from either control panel or from the place that I mentioned above). If u want to run a program as the admin what u have to do is Right Click on the program icon and select RUN AS and give admin credentials.
Hope this will help u.
If this is helpful to u please be kind enough to rate this answer. Thanks. Good Luck. :)

Administrator problems

You may be the primary user but your user account may not have admin rights. This is a little unusual in Windows since most users have admin rights by default (this isn't a good security practice, but Windows tends to do this anyway).

I did a quick search of the web and discovered a set of instructions that will allow you to log into your Windows computer (assuming you have Windows XP) with admin rights. Once you do, run the software again and see if it works. If it does, you're ok. If it doesn't then the problem is with the HP software and not your user rights. Good luck:

How do I get admin rights on Windows?

I am trying to install a photosmart all in one C5180 on my pc running Vista. It keeps saying that the program cannot be installed as use by and asking me to log on as the Administrator. I AM the...

This is normal with Vista, Vista log in users as standard (not Administrator privileges) , then ask if to run programs as administrator for security reasons. Once you tell the system to run program as administrator it should install with no problems.
If you really cannot install the program, you can restart computer and login as administrator:
At the "pick a user to login" screen, hit CTRL-ALT-DEL to get the classic login screen. Then you can type in Administrator for the user name, default password is blank.

Boot up with safe-mode. Log on as administrator (no password) - make new user, delete the old user (NOT ADMINISTRATOR) - and reboot as new user.
