The time zone is correct! It is started on Thursday last week to provide obviously incorrect arrival times. Distance of 100+ miles showed an arrival time of 30 minutes from the current time.

Do I display speed on m Garmin nuvi 260 instead of arrival time?

im not too hot on garmins but my tom tom will only show so many things before it runs out of space. go to your display settings and search around in there, remove one thing like compass direction and you may be able to fill the empty slot with new info.

Hello. Everytime I plug in a destination that is preprogrammed in my favorites, my Garmin calculates the estimated arrival time hour away, althought the distance time is not more that 15 min. What is going...

Your unit is probably set for a time in a different time zone..... not sure on your model but if you can follow how mine works you may get to it....

I have to go to Tools..... Settings..... Time time zone and make sure your time zone is selected

My etrex vista crashes randomly please help

This is my fourth Vista HCx, the first crashed regularly until I updated the sw which fixed it, but soon after it blew an internal fuse and had to be replaced, the second worked great for six months and never once crashed but I broke the glass so had to send it back for repair. Unfortunatly Garmin will not repair a unit but will only replace it so the third arrived and kept randomly crashing after 2 to 12 hours use. I sent this one back and the fourth arrived this weekend, it crashed within an hour of getting it out of the box and switching it on. Everything at default just as it arrived. Have set everything up now and done all resets but it still crashes after 5 mins up to about 3 hours is the longest it has ever run for. I will be going back on Monday.

Why does my garmin c340 tell the wrong side of road a house is on?

This is common with most GPS receivers not just yours. It has to do with your position relative to the Sat. and the amount of processor utilization looking for triangulation readings. Basically its a brief signal deterioration on one or more signals so your device is lagging a bit.

please rate. thanks.
