Same problem E:61 - no focus, lens stuck

I thought the camera was broke. Went looking on this site this morning. I first pressed the reset button, no fix. Then I saw all the posts of smacking the lens barrel two times and thought this isn't going to work. Had nothing to lose. I smacked the opened barrel twice with two fingers. It worked! Incredible. Thanks!
