I have a Samsung UN46F6300 TV and the external sound output has quit working. Would replacing the T-com board most likely fix this problem?

Check the audio settings menu of the TV. May be there would be an option to select the audio output whether you wish use inside speakers or external amplifier. if its there then You have to change the setting to external amp.

Sound is too low even tough the levels are to the max I wounder if a software could influence the sound ??

What are you using for speakers? Most sound cards/chips have limited power output. Most speakers that attach to desktops are externally powered to provide a greater sound level. Laptop speakers are small and designed for the power that the integrated sound chip can produce. If you attach unamplified external speakers to these devices, over time you will damage the output drivers on these chips, causing loss of sound level and eventual failure.

Audio went out has a great picture but no sound

Make sure that your speakers on set are turned on. If they are and still no sound then you have developed a problem with the audio board and/or amplifier.

If you have audio outputs check to see if you can feed that output to an external amp. If the external amp works then the issue is with the internal amp of your tv. If external does not work either then the problem lies with the audio circuits that precede the amp of your tv..

Kdl-32v4000 sound

Check the speaker first. Check if there is any sound output comes from the audio out terminals at the back of the TV, by connecting them to any external audio out devices; such as an amplifier or so. If there is audio output comes from the external source such connected, and no audio output from the TV; since the speakers are good, the fault is with the audio output section circuit inside the TV. If there is no audio output from the external sources too, the fault is with the audio processing section circuit at the main board. If this is the case, main board is faulty, and should be replaced.

check out the output tab int window, if output volume is disabled it means there is some problem with hardware. I had a similar problem it turned out that speaker wires where disconnected.

Computer speakers work but external speakers do not

Schuttie
hello there!
First Things First:
1) Check if your external Speakers are connected on the external sound card output connector **
2) Check on control panel and multimedia if your sound card (external) is enable, and not MUTED sound. Rise the volume.
3) check cables from Speakers and see if not old or broke.
Good Luck

Love the system...

The e-mu sure can do it. You just run whatever output you want into the input on the sound board. The setup is exactly the same as if you just wanted to play winamp music on the system.

It's your computer that can't handle it. Computer only has one sound output, so you can't play two separate things in two separate instances of winamp, because the sound only comes out of one place on your laptop.

You can buy a second external sound card, like the SB Live External USB Sound card, and maybe run both at the same time, having one winamp output to the external device, and the other winamp output to the laptop's internal sound card device, then one line runs to your e-mu system and the other to a pair of headphones.

Or you can bring another laptop in ;)
