After loading the casset and trying to run the display i get a "remove the casset" message and than an eject note o the screen. when I eject the casset compartment has a hard time lifting up and releasing the casset.
-   I'm getting a remove cassette message when I put the tape in. It accepts the ejects the tape fine. With the tape in, there is "eject tape" flashing continuously on the screen. The tape I'm using is new also. Any help would be great!!!!-   DEAN2988

-   My Canon ZR60 has no tape in it and when I try to open the door the cassette holder comes out half way and will not come out more and so I cannot put a tape into it. How do I fix it?

This is a tape transport problem and is expensive to fix. Unless you know a cheap tech, it's time for a new one. Be patient loading and unloading tapes. This is usually what causes this problem. The Yellow warning sticker is REALLY important. Another important item is to always use the same brand of tape because switching tapes causes a gummy build-up the makes tapes get caught in the machine. Videoteacher

There is no sound on playback when capturing video with my camcorder. I'm assuming the camera isn't capturing it at all. I've tried to check this by connecting A/V cables to another source and still no sound at playback. I am going to try cleaning the heads to see if this works. Thanks Jesse
