My metabo khe2444 stopped working while i was drilling, what could be the common cause?

If it's fairly new, the electronic switch/speed control is the most likely thing to go out. Check and see if you can get full speed out of it. If so, then it's definitely the speed control.
If it's been used a lot, then it could be the brushes or bearings/bushings.

Here is one of the companies that sell parts for it. I'm including this so you can see a diagram. (I've never bought anything from this company, I'm not trying to promote them.)

I have same problem, no variable speed control for Milwaukee 04201-1, just full speed. Is this electronic speed control as well? If so can I still get parts needed? Thanks

Variable speed on this model is controled by the switch. Part number was 23-66-2300 but it is discontinued. You may be able to use Google to search (by the part number then hit the shopping link on the left side of the page) for someone that still has one in stock.

My Dewalt DW056 doesn't run variable speed. It's either full speed or not at all. Can this be fixed?

It can be fixed, you just need a new switch. I can not find a Dewalt model number DW056 so I'm not sure what switch you need. The DW053 and DW055 use the same switch, part number N034934. A DW057 uses either part number 152274-15 or 152274-23 which is a variable speed switch. Make sure which model you have and which switch you need, Dewalt switches are expensive, most are $50 and up, and it's hard to return electronic parts to most parts distributors.

Metabo SBE750 hammer drill trigger sensitivity

The only possible sollution for this failure in this particular tool is to replace the switch. There are no additional electronics that could cause this.

Drill starts and stops like there is something loose on the inside

This is typically caused by one of two things. Worn brushes or a bad switch. How old is drill and has it been used a lot? If the brushes are worn/bad they will need replacing. If the switch (trigger) is bad it can sometimes be fixed by spraying an electronic contact cleaner in it. This cleaner can be purchased at Radio Shack. I have also had good success using WD40. Spray the switch down good (power removed) and manually operate it a few times, wipe it clean, plug it in and try it again.

Hilti te92 starts up then stops after a little use

It could be the contacts on the switch are burning out. The 92 also had an electronic speed regulator that could be going out.

After you run the drill and it stops. Unplug the drill, take the handle off and apart. Feel the screws on the switch were the wires are connected. If one of them is hot to the touch that usually means the contacts are burning up.
