My Emtec Movie Cube-r has frozen on the Movie Cube-r introduction screen. I have taken the power input out and put it back in but to no avail. How do I unfreeze this? As I can not connect to the PC to clear down, just in case I am exceeding the hard drive?

You can download instructions and firmware from either gearbest.com or chinagadgetreviews.com and reload the factory firmware either using a micro SD (with firmware on the root) or via a male to male usb cable. with the box off there is a reset button in the AV input stick a toothpick in it until you can feel the button push in then insert the power, this will bring up a bootloader and automatically start the update (SD) same with USB except you have to use amlogic downloader on a PC (PC screen shows progress) and the USB will power the device, both sites have detailed instructions.

sounds like you bricked it. try taking the battery back out than hold the power button for 5-10 seconds than put the battery back in and try it than.

Pull up previous posts by its left sidebar, or type in the brand name and model number to of your set, to its search box, and press 'Enter' or view it in Mosaic / Timeslide option.

1. Run your AV cords from your Game Cube to your VCR input in the back.
2. Now run the AV inputs from the VCR (outputs) to your TV (inputs)
3. Now you press "input" on the remote on your VCR to make the VCR play your input thr Game Cube is hooked up to.
4. Now you set your TV to what ever input you hooked your AV cable from your VCR to.
5. Turn the Game Cube on and play.

Hi there just checked my manual for compatability! It doesn't mention divx it's xvid compatible! But im sure i have divx on mine that i have ripped myself

I have taken the batteries out and put them in backwards, taken them back out and put them in correctly. Then I reprogrammed the remote. This usually works, although I wouldn't put it on the "recommended" fixes shelf. But you might want to give it a try.

unplug ac adapter and remove laptop battery for five minutes and put laptop battery back in and then check to see if that does it
